The Training Division is overseen by one Battalion Chief, responsible for all training and safety programs for the Central Lyon County Fire Protection District. The District has developed a comprehensive training program that emphasizes safety and strives to keep all members up to date on the latest methods and procedures in fire suppression and EMS.
In addition to regular weekly training for fire and EMS skills, several specialized training programs are offered:
The Training Committee meets quarterly to review and develop the training program. All members are welcome to attend and give their input.
