To apply for a commercial burn permit:

1. All commercial burn permits require permitting with the State of Nevada- Bureau of Air Quality Planning in addition to this permit. These can be obtained at aims.ndep.nv.gov, follow the instructions to create your organization on the web page. Once your organization creation is requested, NDEP will create it and email you, then access will be granted to apply for a “Burn Variance Application” to document your burn. Your organization only needs be created once. Print this permit and the NDEP permit to have available on site when burning.

2. Fill out Permit.

3. Email completed permit and schedule a site inspection by contacting prevention@centralfirenv.org.

 

Commercial Burn Permit Fee $75.00 due before issuance of permit.

Commercial burning follows the same conditions as residential: Burning of clean woody, forest, range, or yard vegetation ONLY. Burning of trash, treated wood, or dimensional lumber is prohibited.
