Fuels Reduction Assistance Program – 30’ Defensible Space Clearances

Central Lyon Fire is proud to support our most vulnerable residents through our Fuels Reduction Assistance Program, aimed at creating safer properties and stronger fire defenses across our community.

What We Offer

Our team will assist with clearing and thinning vegetation to maintain a 30-foot defensible space around homes and structures — a proven method to reduce wildfire risk.

Available by Appointment Only

This program is reserved for qualifying citizens:

• Senior citizens (age 65+)
• Disabled citizens who are physically unable to perform this work

Our crews will assist with:

• Brush removal
• Small tree thinning
• Clearance of flammable vegetation around your home
